Teppan Yaki is a new style of Japanese cuisine that is fast growing in the UK.

Originally developed in the late 1940s, as meat became more widely available, it is now not just a delicious taste of Japan but a whole concept in entertainment.

Customers to Teppan Yaki restaurants sit around a granite (or granite effect) counter topped with a gleaming steal plate. The chefs then take it upon themselves to provide entertainment as well as food, juggling their knives and performing miraculous cutting feats while sautéing a mouth-watering combination of steak, seafoods and vegetables.

The most popular Teppan Yaki cooking table seats eight people and measures 2,400mm x 1,200mm, however, the table can also be manufactured to a restaurants own design and specification.

The base is finished in high quality solid wood with stainless steel kicking boards and control panels. The eating surface can be supplied with granite or formica set in a hardwood surround.

The polished cooking plate, 1,600mm x 600mm, can be LPG, natural gas or electric, 6kw-240 volt, with two cooking zones.

All Teppan Yaki cooking installations are manufactured in the UK and can be designed, manufactured and installed to almost any requirements.
